Who we are

Coach Jim Beck has coached soccer for over 20 years at the club, high school and international levels.  While coaching at Western Guilford High School in Greensboro, NC, Coach Beck started a soccer shoe drive to send shoes and soccer equipment to Senegal.  The drive collected over 300 pair of soccer shoes plus soccer balls and uniforms.  

Several years later Kicks and Cleats was formed to carry this mission to the local communities and serve kids from ages 8-17.  Our mission is to make sure that no kid is denied an opportunity to play sports because they don’t have the appropriate shoes.
